My name is Sabrina Covington, and I am the founder of Covington+ Associates CPAs Inc. I always knew I wanted to have my own CPA Firm. Since I was in high school, my visions were set on the path that would lead me to own my firm.
Since I passed the CPA exam the first time, I started my career working directly for the CFO of a small cap NASDAQ company. I knew I wanted to be in public accounting. I worked very hard in a small CPA Firm where I lived experiences that taught me that what I wanted was a firm that values clients, and that works on being a valued member of my clients team.
I have been in public practice for over fifteen years. We are an award winning for The 2012 Entrepreneur of the Year, 2013 Women Succeeding Against All Odds and just recently voted the top 50 cloud accountants in the USA.
Over my fifteen years of experience, I have performed a lot of exciting engagements but Covington+ Associates, CPAs Inc. has recently shifted to a more niche focus of working with not for profits organizations.
Covington+ Associates had the honor of being the official auditors for M.U.S.L ( better known as the Powerball Lottery) We have also worked on federal contracts with governmental agencies including FEMA and Army Corps of Engineers.
We will continue to write our story by bringing clients that are looking to grow and get more organized using cloud technology.

We have hired and trained our well-educated staff, not only to embraced technology. We stress the biggest skill set beside customer service is to have common sense. We realized that you need to talk to us and will never hit you over the head with a bunch business jargon. Our team communicate with our clients in a plain English type of way. Because of our cloud-based software, we can screen share and look at your issues and take care of it on the phone.
All of our staff accountants are certified and trained to work with some accounting and payroll software including Xero.
We also have a marketing team and administrative staff that are our backbone and can help you with any nonaccounting needs.
To meet the needs of our clients and be there for them when they need help. Our home office is out of Altamonte Springs, FL, which is on the outskirts of Orlando, and our satellite offices in Daytona Beach, Florida and Washington, DC. In addition to serving DC and Florida, we also accept clients from all over North America. In fact, the majority of our clients prefer to communicate with us from their office without ever having to step foot in a car to see us. We have found this to be beneficial because it helps reduce costs for our clients, saves them time and allows them to work more efficiently.
